Offerings
Somatic Nature Immersion
Service Description
In this Somatic Nature Immersion, we will somatically explore our inner and outer cosmos to sense, feel & know our connection to all that is. The practice is intended to expand ones sense of self beyond the perceived boundary of body to remember our intrinsic wholeness as relational beings directly connected to their environment. Research has shown that Nature therapy offers a wide range of benefits for mental, emotional, & physical well-being. It leverages the healing power of the natural world to support stress resilience, emotional regulation, boost mood, enhance cognitive function, access greater authenticity within, and expand our capacity to realize our dreams & desires. Studies have also shown that spending time in nature can reduce blood pressure, cortisol levels, improve heart rate variability, decrease inflammation, and even improve concentration and memory. The hike location, length, & difficulty will vary slightly depending on participants specific desires & needs. Hiking experience is highly encouraged. Expect to be walking/hiking for at least an hour with space to potentially somatically orient, move, breath, connect along the way. Also, if you are new to the area, acclimation to the high altitude region is also recommended. What to bring: ~Backpack ~Water Bottle ~Sunscreen ~Sun glasses ~Hiking shoes with ankle support ~Layers/light jacket ~Light Snack ~Journal and Pen This Somatic Nature Immersion is weather permitting.
